Welcome to the Storm Shelter RPG Wiki!

The Storm Shelter Wiki is the knowledge base companion site to the roleplaying game. The RPG is an online interactive storytelling game. The goal is to create a novel-style mission told by several various characters that are written (aka played) by different people. The plots are reminiscent of the 1980s style action-adventure television series and movies.

About Us

Storm Shelter is a storytelling style roleplaying writing group. For the sake of ease, we refer to it as an RPG or roleplaying game. We use the Nova sim management system by Anodyne Productions as our writing venue. For those of you unfamiliar with Nova, guides have been created and posted in the Guides folder on the wiki.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to join the group.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. No Text Speech Allowed in Posts!
  • A working computer or tablet and Internet access (writing is done online).
  • Basic computer knowledge and technical skills (need to be able to navigate the internet to research posts, history, story ideas.)

Storm Shelter’s World

Storm Shelter is a modern-day action adventure set in a cinematic version of the real world. This means that some elements of the organization and the world are slightly more fantastic than in actual reality. For instance, Storm Shelter will wind up involved in adventures that your average private security company might not encounter. We also allow some paranormal abilities on a very restricted basis (i.e. no superhumans). The majority of our stories will be basic action-adventure with an element of the fantastic or paranormal tossed in on occasion.

Navigating the Wiki

Finding the information that relates to the game’s universe is as simple as clicking on the Wiki Index link in the top menu and browsing the pages listed on the index page.

Interested in Joining the Adventures?

We strongly recommend that you go to the RPG Site, powered by the Nova Game Management System, and browse the characters and their bios, read some of the scenes (aka posts) in the Missions and get familiar with the setting and story writing style. You should also browse the wiki and most important, read the Rules!

After that, your next step is to Contact Us and tells us a little bit about yourself, your interest in the game, and your character concept. The Game Manager or Assistant Game Manager will respond as soon as their real life time allows.
